How do I return an item?
Cables and Optics-
Original sales receipt must accompany returns. We accept returns for exchange or refund 7 calendar days after delivery of the product. At our sole discretion after 7 calendar days, we will offer an exchange or store credit only. Items must be in "new, unaltered and unused condition".
Definition of new, unaltered and unused condition is:
•Without showing signs of wear or damage in any way.
•Within 7 calendar days of the delivery date (after 7 days no returns are allowed).
•Must not be a special order or a custom order.
•Unless noted that it cannot be returned or has a different return policy time period other than that 7 days noted in that item's particular item description.
If an item is received damaged or is incorrectly shipped by us please contact Customer Support immediately. Items that are defective and shipped from us or items that you did not order but received from us will qualify for store credit or a cash refund. Refunds are contingent upon inspection of item(s) once we receive it. There is a 15% restocking fee for returned items that are not being exchanged and are not damaged. Again you MUST contact us within 7 days if you intend to return ANY item back to our store. Items returned to us AFTER 7 days and WITHOUT contacting us will NOT be refunded. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs if seller is not at fault.
Switches and Routers-Refund/Return Policy:
If you would like to exchange or return an item purchased in the last 30 days, you will need to request a Return Authorization (RA) number (Note that Custom Orders are not eligible for return or exchange - Please see below for more information). After submitting your return request, we will review the information and forward via email an RA number and instructions for returning the item. All custom items are final sale. Please note that items shipped back to us without a return authorization number will not be accepted and will be returned to you. All items must be returned in their original, unworn and unused condition enclosed in original packaging within 30 days for a refund or exchange. Returned items should be free from dirt and debris. In the event an item is returned in a condition where it can not be resold, the order will be sent back to you and additional shipping charges will apply. Shipping fees are non-refundable. We offer free shipping on several of our items. If for any reason you need to return an item with free shipping, the refund you receive will be for the item price minus the standard shipping cost. Standard shipping costs are based on item prices as outlined within our shipping information. If you opt to exchange your free shipping purchase for another item that also had free shipping, a standard shipping charge will be added to cover our costs.
You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 30 days of our receiving your return. Please understand that it takes several days for us to go through returns and to inspect them. After inspection it is sent to our credit department for processing. If accepted, a credit is given and it takes several business days for a credit to post through the credit card processor and issuing bank. All returns and exchanges will be credited less applicable restocking fees and shipping costs. NW Cables and Tenfold Networks LLC reserves the right to charge restocking fees (up to 15%) on any and all returned or exchanged items.
